Why Transforming Our Practice Exists
As a more than 30 year non-profit administrator, educator, and Edupreneur, I have myself often experienced a lack of support and commitment to my leadership development within the organizations I served. Only when I sought out leadership coaching, learning experiences, and personally tailored professional development was I able to tap into my hidden potential to achieve success in my personal and professional life.
As a coachee you can expect a safe and confidential space that is open to questioning, illumination, and reflection on topics that you want to explore, dive deep, and/ or laser focus on. As your coach, I am here to provide a 100% virtual leadership coaching presence that will facilitate the cultivation, nurturing, and sustaining of tapping into your hidden potential to develop peak leadership performance.
I am a Master Certified Professional Coach and Certified Cognitive Coach who has over 15 years’ experience as an instructional, leadership, and equity coach. I have degrees in Organizational Management, Managerial Leadership, and currently A. B. D. for an Ed. D. in Leadership. I specialize in Transformational Leadership Coaching for Educators, Youth, Entrepreneurs, and Start-Up Founders. I lean into Positive Psychology, Leadership Theories and Frameworks, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Acceptance (DEIBA) philosophies and best practices.
My facilitation and consulting is aligned to my coaching philosophy in that I co-design with my partners a learning and growth experience that is intentional for cognitive heavy lifting of the participants. I do explicitly frame and provide context to promote understanding and point of reference, including techniques such as action mapping to outline the needs of my partners while still allowing them to utilize their knowledge and expertise to guide the work and expectations of their initiatives. As the African Proverb exclaims; " If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far go together".
